Jeff and Natalie Storment give all they have to the young boys & their families in the Iredell area. Boys are being snatched from death and poverty, breaking the cycle of drugs, crime and prison. If ever there was a worthy, effective ministry, it is here, in our backyard!
Wake the World
Providing watersport opportunities for those less fortunate.

Greg Hodgin and 7 other local Charlotte area boat owners got together in 2008 to provide a fun day on the water to a group of children in less fortunate. Along width over 1000 volunteers, Greg has grown Wake the World into 22 summer events, taking place in 18 states, including one in Canada.

Every day, approximately 22 former and active duty U.S. service personnel commit suicide as a result of the effects of PTSD and CRS. This is more than we lose in actual combat! Their mission is to help veterans and their families live a more complete life and eliminate the veteran suicide epidemic.
